The Hampton County Sheriff’s Office is proud to introduce the Youth Explorers Program, an initiative designed to engage and empower the youth of our community. This program aims to provide young individuals with unique opportunities for personal and professional development, while fostering a positive relationship between law enforcement and the community.

The mission of the Youth Explorers Program is to instill leadership, responsibility, and teamwork in our youth, while introducing them to the field of law enforcement. Through a variety of hands-on activities, educational opportunities, and community involvement, we strive to equip our young participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to become future leaders and responsible citizens.

The program highlights law enforcement education, leadership development and community involvement. The program encourages participants to engage with the community through volunteer work, community service projects, and outreach initiatives, fostering a sense of responsibility and civic duty. Youth Explorers will have the opportunity to gain insight into the diverse career paths within law enforcement and related fields, helping them make informed decisions about their future.

The Youth Explorers Program is open to young individuals aged 14 to 18 who reside in Hampton County. Participants should be enthusiastic about learning, committed to personal growth, and dedicated to making a positive impact in their community.
