The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is a statewide investigative law enforcement agency in South Carolina. SLED provides manpower and technical assistance to other law enforcement agencies and conducts investigations on behalf of the state as directed by the Governor and Attorney General. The South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) is a state cabinet agency committed to serving South Carolina's youth offenders. The South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services (SCDPPPS) is charged with the community supervision of offenders placed on probation by the court and paroled by the State Board of Paroles and Pardons.
